Housing

Living On-Campus
WIU requires all students to live in the residence halls for four semesters or until completing 60 credit hours. “Living on” encourages floor community involvement, good study habits, commitment to the academics and the University, leadership skills, and participation in campus events. For more information about living on-campus click here.

Living Off-Campus
Once students have earned 60 hours of credit or have lived in residence halls for four semesters, they are eligible to live off-campus. Many students live in apartments and rental houses near the college. For more information about living off-campus click here.
